Sub floor Installation

We planned to spend the weekend installing our windows, but that didn't work out as planned. Our large window was the wrong size so we are having to return it. We adapted and decided to work on the sub floor instead - we may as well take advantage of the weekend, right?

So, instead we installed the kilmat on the floor, insulation and treated plywood. We were able to use a body shop garage that has a 10 foot ceiling and ample space to work around. Parents even helped by cutting kilmat pieces while Shannon installed them. Then the guys cut up the wood pieces. This step took the better part of a day, but we were able to finish.

Next step on the floor is to settle on the final flooring. Do we use laminate? Wood? Oh so many choices?

Whew this is a lot of work!
