We decided to take a day trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway while we were still waiting on the second window to be available for pick-up in SC. The second window is the larger one that goes on the sliding door.

We decided to leave early in the morning, go hiking in the mountains and pack a picnic lunch with a few small appliances. Simon is always ready to go on an adventure, so we packed his blanket, bed and cover so he could stay cozy while riding.

Shannon drove the entire trip up and down the mountain. We drove all the way up to SW VA, through Sparta, which is where a small earthquake was registered a week earlier. We didn't see any remnants of the earthquake. The mountains are so peaceful and beautiful. We are so excited about the many adventures we will be going on with this new vehicle.
